I'm wondering if I should revive this blog. Is anyone interested in my doing so?

Yes. Many entries are thought-provoking and insightful and they are always interesting.

Definitely. One of the things I love about reading the philosophical classics is the richness of the asides in those texts, something that gets missed in the bare bones of the arguments that are picked out for expositions. Philosophical minds always seem to make interesting remarks about all sorts of things, so a blog like this is a good way for the interesting thoughts of a philosopher, that may not find a home in modern philosophy books, to get into the ether.

I would like to hear your thoughts on a variety of subjects. Here are some suggestions: your tastes in music, your political views, remarks on books you have been reading (not just on philosophy, but on literature aswell for example), I thought your short remarks on Ross's deontology were interesting, especially because I was under the impression that you were a virtue theorist (now I suspect that even though you think there are many subjects presently lacking the attention they deserve in ethics, and virtue theory bears on them, you probably think one cannot give an account action rightness based on a theory of virtues but on the contrary a character trait being a virtue or a vice pressuposes some actions already being right or wrong, but it is just a guess). On the subject of sports, I would like hearing about your experience as a surfer, since you already spoke about tennis in many previous entries (I am a fellow surfer myself!). Just some ideas for blog entries.

I am interested. There are some philosophers who I am interested in but they do not have any blog, so there is no interaction with them. It is frustrating.
